What To Do If Your PTC Provider Does Not Pay?

Ah, at last, you reached the payout limit of xx dollars in some unknown paid-to-click. Now, you just have to click one button, insert your mobile number and perhaps a picture of your mother [ha-ha] and then you wait for this website owner/team to send you your payment right?
You shouldn’t be surprised in case you didn’t get your money from them; this is what happens when you work for shady/scammy PTC sites. If you are a victim of such scam, you should read this article very carefully, because here, you will learn what you should do in such a situation.

It’s always best if you don’t fall any scam. It is often possible to easily recognize dubious PTC providers prior to registration. So if you look at a site and say I’ll never make money online here, don’t be surprised if it is actually a scam site and that you were right to not join it.
However, if you made a mistake and joined one of these scam sites, then you don’t always have to start panicking when they do not pay you your money. First of all, find out, using internet or read the reviews on my sites, how long a payout normally takes for your provider. 2 weeks waiting is nothing unusual. If nothing happens, you can take further steps.

Politely ask for the money
On each page, you will find a contact form or at least one way to contact the admin/owner/support. So contact the support or send a message directly to the administrator. Explain your problem and tell in detail what your issue is. Keep in mind that many PTC-Providers only understand English, so you should write your message in English. Remain polite because maybe there was just a silly mistake why you didn’t get your money. You should wait a few days for the answer.

When they answer
Has your problem been solved? Super!

But in case your issue remains unsolved, then keep reading.
First of all, read the terms and conditions. If you intentionally or unintentionally, violated any rules, then you’re unlucky and there is not much you can do about it. But if you did nothing wrong, then proceed to the next step.

If no answer comes
In most cases, dubious PTC-Sites do not respond at all. As dumb as it sounds, but legal-threats to companies and admins play nicely and work faster than asking gently. Write a mail every day. Call the number too (respect long distance calls.) Threaten with a lawsuit and mention the many lawyers you have of course. :)

Reporting
First, one should distinguish between the country the PTC provider is located in and what the legal situation is in that country. Most providers are based in USA. If it was promised that you would get money, you have every right to get it. The fastest and cheapest way to file a complain is via using internet or contacting consumer protection department. If your account balance is around $10, then I don’t think it is worth all the effort. But if it is about a larger payout or you want to bring justice to a scam then proceed by all means.
Unfortunately, many PTC sites are actually operating from abroad [usually from third world countries.] Often, wrong addresses and phone numbers are given and you have no chance of contacting the operators. In this case, it is better to check website authenticity; better early than too late. The quicker you realize that you made a mistake the better; learn from your mistakes and don’t ever repeat doing it. On some sites, unfortunately, you simply don’t have a chance to get your money, especially if the website suddenly goes offline and there is no track record of the operators.

Conclusion
If you don’t get money from a PTC provider, you don’t have to worry too much about it at first because there are many ways you can still get your money. However, you should always check the authenticity of the website before joining and request a payout as soon as you reach the minimum payout limit. Also, before thinking about taking a legal action, consider the amount of money that you are fighting for. For a $2 payout, going to court is not a good choice.
